Comparing the lighting displayed

Imagery showing the difference between the original usage of lighting being transformed by LSD battery lights. Both give compare differently towards the colours used the blue hinting coldness whilst the normal lighting of the room gives a warmer expression.

Deconstructing objects

These images ( by Alana ) show the process of taking the bread maker apart and all the components within the machine itself.

Fourth drawing/illustration the perspectives and the object

Primary image showing vigorous usage of lines, these are two drawings A2 in size which have been connected using both masking tape and continuous lines which are created to become a 3 dimensional object this focusing on many perspectives forming from the reconstructed object.  

Presenting the object

This is how the object was placed, showing several angles which represent the work as being natural. The artist who has inspired this sculpture is Cornelia Parker.

These primary images show different perspectives created from observing the object through several angles, expressing the use of natural textures, destruction and tonal aspects.

The Final Product

These images show how the object is now being displayed, giving techniques of both weaving and shaping. Focusing on motion and the form how it links together into a space. 

Reconstructing a form of space

These primary images show my first attempt of constructing a form using the deconstructed materials of the orange crate, it has proven to be a challenged but having found a method to construct each piece together it has become a lot more simplistic.  

Quick sketches of forming the orange box

These are quick design maps of what I can see with the materials used, the wood is thin and can twist in all angles so I was testing out making a sculptural piece showing form and function.

Twice or thrice had I loved thee,

John Donne

Out of all his poems that I have recently read, this one seemingly strikes me the most. The words which John has used within this beautiful poem clearly illustrates about angels, this is something that has always fascinated me and the whole reason why I've started to look into Spiritualism within art. Especially those who have studied into Abstract Expressionism, the poem itself is so touching to me that I have shed a few tears. I recommended that others should definitely consider reading his poetry.

Inspirational technique of drawing

I used a primary image showing all the materials of the orange box as a guideline to recreating this inventory showing the exact items which have been received from dismantling the box. 

Deconstructing the orange box

These primary images which were taken on my digital Sony camera show a clear process of dismantling the orange box, showing the tools that I have used which were flat ended pliers and a flat ended screwdriver. I've also shown the literal shape of the box itself arranged in an organized manner and I then started to experiment trying to recreate space through a form of an object.
